1.) PROMOTE THE PRACTICE OF ASATRU IN THE DAKOTAS

 

We promote the practice of the native traditions of our shared European ancestors. For thousands of years our kind practiced a spirituality that was unique to them as a distinct people. This practice has been reawakened in the modern era and called Asatru. We promote a return to those roots for our people and we are actively seeking to bring Asatru to our folk across the region.

2.) REAWAKENING OUR FOLK TO THE ANCESTRAL WAYS OF THEIR BLOOD

We are actively seeking to reach many of our native European folk and reawaken within them a connection to the Gods and Goddesses of our noble people. Let the holy name of Odinn again be shouted to the skies across the prairie; let lady Frigga be called upon by the ladies of our kind in their birthing pains! We WILL awaken the folksoul of our kind here in the Dakotas.

3.) BUILDING A COMMUNITY FOR OUR FOLK TO THRIVE IN

We are building the community that is needed for our Euro-folk to again thrive and grow. With the groundbreaking of a hof here in the Dakotas we have began the process of putting roots in the ground. As our folk grow we will seek to build more holy places across the Dakotas and aid in the growth of more kindreds and clans.

4.) SUPPORTING THE REAWAKENING OF ALL TRIBAL PEOPLES THE WORLD OVER

​

Prairie Asatru supports all tribal peoples in their own quests to reawaken their unique folk traditions and religions. As more people around the world throw off the cloak of cultural degradation and return to their native folkways we see a positive future for ourselves as well. All folkish peoples around the world should be supportive of the efforts of other like minded peoples. Our world can only be made better by people returning to their roots and drinking from their own well.

5.) CREATING A FUTURE FOR THE GENERATIONS TO COME AFTER US

​

Prairie Asatru is actively working to create a future for those Asatruar who will come after us. The children growing up in Asatru here will have a Hof to celebrate in. Gothar will be trained and ordained to lead the rituals and guide the folk to come. And we are always looking to awaken people to their birthright and help them grow and deepen a connection to the Gods of our folk.

A people without a future are a dead end!
