Prairie Asatru

is a federally recognized 501c3 non-profit religious organization formed to reawaken the ancestral spirit of the native European peoples in North and South Dakota. We are wholly dedicated to the reawakening of our Ancestral religious beliefs. These beliefs are known as Odinism, Asatru, Theodism, and Forn Sed in this modern age. To our Ancestors those same religious beliefs were a part of all they did and of who they were; they needed no label for their way of life. We are kindling the ashes of those ways into a roaring fire, reawakening the blood memory of our noble folk, and again honoring the Gods of our people!

Prairie Asatru's purpose is to promote our native spirituality and see it grow here in the Dakotas. We welcome all honorable men and women descended from the tribes of Northern Europe. We are seeking to create a network of kindreds and tru folk across the Dakotas and beyond that works together to create a community in the real world. A community of tru folk working together to grow our spirituality today and create a positive future for the Asatruar of tomorrow's generation.
